June 15 1:07pm

Apparently in ecuador ´to plan a lesson for english class´ means to move huge things of heavy rocks for an hour. yeah. that was our morning. i mean its one thing if we expect it, have work clothes on and sneakers. we were dressed up! (well as much as possible for ecuador) but yeah after that we were thrown to the wolves where the kids were all screaming and the teachers were yelling at them for yelling and it was a mess. after pretending to teach for 15 minutes they had dance lessons? haha it was really cool to watch but really random. there was this guy in a huge dress in the front dancing and showing them what to do while the little kids tried their best to follow. then suddenly it was back to english lessons! we had quickly made a game of bingo and so they were all excited to play-- even though they all totally cheated haha. but after that we had lunch.... megan and i no longer eat but pick at the rice, and pretend to eat the soup. after we got back to the room we shoved a cliff bar (the reason we are still alive) into our mouths and got on a bus to puerto lopez. after we had a discussion and briefing with daniel, we had a pineapple smoothie there and a grilled cheese (slightly more appealing than lunch but still not that good because its made with goat cheese). now we are biding our time before dinner... yay. < 3
