So after my fiasco, meg had a lovely time with our host mother abou the phone. i knew it would be a problem, but i figured id let her just go for it. anyways meg basically was paraded around town with daniel, nothing was accomplished, and, as usual, the whole town watched. from now on we are using the cell phone.... or finding some sort of internet cafe in this town.
So anyways we went snorkling and kayaking! the waves were really huge and we were kayaking to an island so we had to get out really fast while the waves were lower. greg, carrie, and i made it out just fine and beasted with our awesome kayaking skills. poor megan though got stuck on the beach for like ever. so eventually we all made it out and had a lovely time snorkeling and taking pictures underwater! we ate ceviche that ceasar made for us and then went back home. unfortunately the waves were just as big and as greg and i were kayaking in we got hit by a giant wave and got knocked upsidedown! it was awesome! after lunch, we went to a national park 'agua blanca' this natural sulfur spring that we thought would be hot but was really cold. (i dont think daniel listens to us very well because he def told us it was hot) but we had a good time anyways and we soaked up all the aroma and mud of the sulfur spring. yummmm :P
