Okay, so here are some pictures finally! Taken with the lovely Hannah Goldberg´s Camera (since my lovely camera decided to crap out yesterday right before we went diving with sharks. yeah, i dont want to talk about it, im not a happy camper!) but anyways, this morning we had a free day so Megan, Hannah, Ginny, Tim, and I went to la lobarĂa--a place to see black marine iguanas, sea lions, and sea turtles. It was amazing. In these first three pictures there are tons black iguanas in the background. the last one is just a cute picture from machallia that i found on the camera and wanted to post.

  1. Thanks for posting Julia! Loooove the pics! It seems as though the Megster's blog has gone stale :(

We are soooooo looking forward to seeing Megan again and have her for 4 days for OUR vacation and share her stories and pictures!

We'll all have to get together afterwards too for more stories.

  2. Hola Julia! Or is that Ola?

Those iguanas are well camouflaged, or I'm just blind. Thanks for putting up the photos! Greg wishes he were with you -- he started working again yesterday -- he's told us some great stories and I feel like I know Princessa, and Maria and Victor and others...ditto with your group! There's Hannah and Tim and Ginny and...I recognized them! Thanks for keeping in touch and I guess you'll be home very soon.

Safe travels! We're hoping to have you and M and your families come out here the first weekend in August for a little party if that works for you. Could you mention that to your mom and/or dad? Hugs!

  3. Oh wait! I used the zoom feature on pic #3 and there are 3 marine iguanas, at least! They're amazing -- so prehistoric! Did you encounter any of them while snorkeling?
